What types of positions does Strategic Talent fill?
At Strategic Talent, we find the right fit for a broad range of highly skilled finance and IT professionals with a heavy concentration on placing critical middle management and executive-level professionals. Whether you are looking for high-end contract, permanent or temporary career opportunities, Strategic Talent can provide you with access to the very best professional opportunities with top employers throughout New England. Occasionally, our clients also ask us to fill positions outside our core area and we have successfully filled numerous sales, marketing, human resources and other staff positions.
Is there an advantage to working with Strategic Talent vs. applying directly to a prospective employer?
Absolutely. Our clients know that we rigorously source and screen candidates and only present those select few who are highly qualified candidates for a position. When you apply directly to a prospective employer, your resume may be among 200 to 300 resumes that a company might receive and the initial review of all of these resumes is typically conducted by a Human Resources professional who does not have accounting, finance or IT experience. Our talent advisors, many of whom have direct accounting, finance and IT experience, have the industry knowledge, marketplace intelligence and long-standing relationships to present you with meaningful opportunities that will have a positive impact on your career.

What is the Strategic Talent candidate process?
Candidates come to Strategic Talent from many sources — by responding to our ads, via referrals, through our website, or contacting us by phone to talk with one of our talent advisors about available opportunities. As a standard practice, we begin the process by requesting from you an updated resume in Word format and a completed Candidate Information Form. Typically, we will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your experience, skills, long-term career goals, salary requirements, commute restrictions and other relevant information to ensure the opportunities we provide are ideally suited for you. Once we have collected your information, we can begin looking for positions that match your requirements and you will become a part of our proprietary database of candidates.

An vice versa, it’s important for you to have ample opportunity to ask questions of us in order to determine if Strategic Talent is the best agency to assist you in achieving your personal and professional goals.
