Some people think that the recruiting process is fun and I’m one of them.
Unfortunately, there is a theme out there that having to cooperate with the dreaded, two-headed recruiter is a necessary evil - a task which is not considered very desirable, enjoyable or fun. Recruiters are regularly compared to the used car salesman who is looking to make a quick buck to close a sale. I understand the analogy and have on more than one occasion mentally prepared myself for the trip to purchase a new car. I too, just want to be treated with dignity and respect, have my concerns heard, and trust that I am receiving the best possible advice and personal care. I want to feel as though I’m REALLY being heard. I carry this same belief system into my recruiting business.
As a recruiter, headhunter, talent advisor etc…
I’m your confidant when it comes to those “confidential replacements.”
I’m your advisor when it comes to evaluating hiring needs.
I’m your analyst when it comes to understanding current employment and hiring trends.
These are the reasons why I get up everyday excited to get to the office and do what I truly LOVE - recruiting.
At Strategic Talent, we are not like the stereotypical recruiter. In fact, we don’t even call ourselves recruiters, we prefer Talent Advisors. We enjoy changing opinions on a daily basis!
